Get Vehicle Case ReviewCV DownloadI selected this conference because the panels represent some of the most experienced practitioners in their respective fields.
My goal is to deepen my ability to help attorney clients gather evidence, present it effectively, and communicate technical findings in a way that resonates in the courtroom. I’m also looking forward to connecting with other experts, exchanging case experiences, and learning from professionals who have extensive courtroom and deposition experience.
There are several speakers I’m particularly eager to hear from. Mark Tottenham, author of The Reliable Expert Witness, is someone whose work I’ve been looking forward to reading. I’m making it a priority to get through the book before the conference. William Hooper, Chair of the Academy of Experts in London, is widely regarded as a strong resource and connector within the expert witness community, and I’m hoping to meet him and exchange contacts. Ross Delston, an attorney and expert witness based out of St. Louis, brings a perspective I always find valuable. Someone who has operated on both sides of the attorney-expert relationship and can speak to what attorneys genuinely need from the experts they retain.
These are the kinds of seasoned professionals whose insight on testimony, evidence presentation, and jury communication I find especially useful as I continue refining my practice.
